What the Course Covers

  • Adult CPR: Chest compressions and rescue breaths

  • Use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED)

  • Recovery position: Placing an unconscious person into a safe position to support their breathing

  • Choking management: Back blows and abdominal thrusts

  • Assessing an unresponsive casualty

  • Cardiac arrest

  • Breathing-related emergencies

All techniques are taught to current Resuscitation Council UK guidelines, with a focus on practical, hands-on learning using modern manikins and training aids.
